I was given this flick by a friend who was moving. I looked up it up and read that many favorite creators of mine loved this film including Cormac McCarthy. So I watched it finally after pushing it aside for several months and I wished I had watched it sooner. . Its a great film simply about a man lost in the world  caught between his new world and the world he left behind. The film is simple and at times stylish and always incisive.
